Self-Check Kiosks
 

Two Self-Check Kiosks are available for use and are located opposite the Circulation Desk along the blue curved wall.


 

At the Self-Check Kiosks you can:

Checkout circulating library items without having to visit the Circulation Desk.

Renew items on your account.

Review your library account summary - checkouts, holds, overdue items, etc.

Email or print your library account summary.

The stations also include accessibility features such as adjustable font size and language support for English, Spanish and French.
 

HOW TO USE

1.      Touch the screen to begin. 

2.      Scan your library card barcode under the red light that will show.

3.      Scan the library barcode of the item you want to check out which is located on the front of the item.

4.      When you have scanned all of your items, touch DONE.

5.      You will have the option to receive a printed receipt or have one e-mailed to you.

SELF-CHECK KIOSK FAQ

Q:  What items cannot be checked out at the Self-Check Kiosk?

A:  DVDs have security cases on them.  These items must be taken to the Circulation Desk to be checked out.  Noncirculating items, like Reference books, cannot be checked out at the Self-Check Kiosk.

Q:  Do I need my library card to use the Self-Check Kiosk?

A:  No, but you will need to know your library card number and PIN if you don't have your card with you.  You can also scan the library barcode in the Library Mobile App!

Q:  Can I use the Self-Check Kiosk to return items?

A:  No, items must be returned to the Circulation Desk or in the outdoor Book Returns.

Q:  Can I pay any fees owed at the Self-Check Kiosk?

A:  No, the Kiosks are not set up to accept payment.  Please go to the Circulation Desk.
